So Happy!

My sister came back from Los Angeles/Anaheim today and she bought me a Disneyland crew neck and a Perry the Platypus key chain!

I love her so much <3

Hipster Nation

What else better to do than spend a day in an area filled with hipsters!?

I had a lovely day with Gabi. We went to San Francisco and headed towards 16th & Mission/24th & Mission by Bart. When we got out, we walked a couple blocks to Valencia, the place where my life changed. I was completely surrounded by nothing but hipsters, hipsters riding bikes, vintage clothing, and cafés/coffee shops! It was amazing and I felt at home!

Everywhere we walked was just so hip! I loved everything about it. We stopped by a couple thrift stores and basked in the ambiance.

We took a quick pizza break and ate at Serrano's Pizzeria. My oh my was the pizza the best I've ever had! They give you a big slice for cheap and it was too good!

After a while of walking up and down Valencia we went back to Powell and chilled there for a little bit. We didn't buy much, but the temptation was hard to resist. Overall, it was a great day. We plan on going back to Valencia and dressing up like such hipsters so that we could fit in with everyone else and café hop! I'm looking forward to it so much! :)

A Day In The Park

Monica and I had the most spontaneous day we've had so far. We decided to have a small picnic at the San Leandro Marina, but to do that we had to buy ingredients and such at Walmart. We bought $40+ worth of tools, supplies, and food. We made our way back to her house to make the sandwiches and prepare the picnic basket. In total, we had three monster sandwiches, which were delicious, and gathered tons and tons of snacks and drinks. We also decided to bring along Dexter, Monica's dog, with us because we didn't want to leave him alone at home.

When we got to the park we feasted and gave Dexter a walk. Surprisingly, it was a bit chilly but we didn't mind that. Monica decided to spray paint her long board white and add some faux flowers and rocks on the bottom, which was pretty cool. While she was doing that, I walked around a bit and took some photographs of the view.

By sunset, we decided to leave. We gathered our stuff, headed to Monica's house, and ate dinner. Afterward we went to Alameda High with Monica's dad and brother and watched the women's varsity basketball game. I finally saw Fiona after months of not seeing her, haha! We played Hercules and we won by 20+ points. I also saw Gelly and Alicia and Justin and Linh and other peeps and goons.

Another Farewell

The majority of my friends left for college again because they're winter break has reached the end. It was a bittersweet feeling because I've gotten close to my friends and having them leave again sucks. I had an early breakfast with Masato at Jim's and it was nice finally catching up and whatnot. Then I met up with Marykim at her house and Danielle was there! It was good seeing her but then she had to leave. But Ben invited us to have dinner at his house with his parents, Keith, and Damon so Kim and I picked up Allison and headed to his house to "surprise" him. I had boon [sp.] for the first time and soy milk. It was a good dinner. They even served us dessert which was amazing!

Ben has this image in his house that has a picture within a picture. And for as long as I saw it, I've been trying to find this image and I couldn't until today. It was literally the best feeling ever and it was life changing. Like my life is now complete.

After watching the Warriors game, we left and went back to Kim's where Wendy met up with us. It was almost midnight so we drove to Kristy's house to say happy birthday. She just got her wisdom teeth taken out so her cheeks were extra puffy, haha.

It was quite an eventful day.

Nostalgia

Masato invited me to go to the Funksters practice today to check out the new dancers. When we got to the studio, I felt so awkward because I haven't stepped into a studio in months! The new dancers were all great and so young! And they didn't do much but talk and stretch so we wasted our time there. We left after an hour or so and went back home.

Board Games

I woke up really late today and met up with Masato a couple hours later. We headed to Daphne's house and played Monopoly Deal which is an extremely awesome and addicting game. Surprisingly, me and Masato were wearing the same Members Only Jacket. I even had a feeling he was gonna wear that, too, haha.

I had to leave a little early to meet up with the Centaurs for game night. We didn't really play games though but I did finish the music video and I showed it to them :)

A Surprise For Kristy

We threw a surprise dinner for Kristy today. She's getting her wisdom teeth removed this Friday and her birthday is on Sunday so we decided to go to Kokyo Sushi Buffet in Hayward. Our group was all Asians of course. I had two plates of sushi, one plate for some chinese food, and two plates of delicious desserts :) My oh my did my stomach hurt afterward.

We all were in the mood to play some board games so we all met up at Monica's house and played a couple rounds of Things, HedBanz, Apples To Apples. It was fun night.

Taco Party

Today was spent with a couple of pretty ladies: Jessica, Wendy, Allison, and Monica. We spent the majority of our time at Monica's house eating and deciding where to eat. We finally came to a conclusion to eat at Costco and that was a good decision. I finally had some chicken bake, yum! :D Afterward we just chilled at Monica's house and watched a couple good episodes of Fear Factor. Monica had to leave so the four of us shopped around South Shore and I bought some new boots that were on sale at Old Navy! They were originally $70 but I copped them for $20. Joog!

Reunited

Today I spent some well deserved time with Masato and Marykim. We first went to the Bay Fair mall so Kim could return her jacket and then we made our way back to Alameda and decided to eat some frozen yogurt. I haven't had froyo in months so I was friggen happy to have some. I even ordered a pandan waffle which was surprisingly delicious. Afterward, Masato had to leave for dinner and I had to shoot some more scenes for the Dempsey music video I'm making. Kim wanted to come so I shot her silhouette in various scenes and whatnot and it turned out pretty amazing. I'm glad the three of us are close friends again :)

Ready For 2012

I've never followed through with New Year's Resolutions but this time, I swear it's different. I know my exact approach on my future and I'm going for it.

This year, I will use this blog as something like a "365 Day Project". I will be using my camera on a daily basis now and take photographs of my day. I've thought about doing this on my Tumblr, but I found it quite easy to disregard Tumblr as a blogging website and shifted to BlogSpot once again.

Will's Surprise Birthday Party/New Year's Eve Party with Dempsey & Friends

Yesterday was finally the day that we've all been waiting for. Everything was under control, running smoothly, and fell into place. We had decorations set up and I even got a live band to perform, Dempsey (dempsey.bandcamp.com).

I finally broke in my fisheye lens that I had bought a while back and I thought the effect would go well with the party so I stuck to it throughout the night.

Here are some images of Dempsey's performance, which included their self-titled album consisting of 6 amazing synth-pop music!

Yeah, we love Dempsey. And if you don't now, you will. Trust me.

Here's the birthday boy, Will, and his bros Albert, Jai, and "Spike".

Will and my sister, aka his girlfriend, Gefany.

Here are just a few more images of some cool kids and myself.

Oh and I'm also bringing myself to create a couple music videos from the party which will also include Dempsey's performance. Ironic thing is that I don't even know how to edit videos and whatnot, but hopefully I'll learn.
